Short introduction

During my work as a dermatologist, I investigate the background of various skin symptoms with a complex approach and with great care, paying attention to the root of the disease, considering other co-morbidities as well. I treat the patients who come to me with maximum attention, based on the most modern knowledge and the latest scientific results, and I place great emphasis on personalized, safe, painless and effective treatment.

Based on my experience at the dermatology university clinic, I consider it extremely important to have a skin screening test at least once a year, which can even save lives. In addition to a wide spectrum of adult and childhood skin diseases, I am also experienced in the investigation and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.

During my clinical work at the academic dermatology center, I gained extensive experience in the treatment of both urgent and long-standing skin symptoms.

Professional background

During my studies at the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University, I spent 1 month each as an internship in Vienna, Bologna and Florence. After obtaining my diploma in 2016, I was employed at the Semmelweis University Dermatology, Genitourinary and Dermatology Clinic, where I obtained a PhD scientific degree, then a dermatology examination with excellent results, and in 2021 I was appointed university assistant professor. Since 2023, I have been the president of the Psychodermatology Section of the Hungarian Dermatology Association.

I gave numerous presentations at national and foreign dermatological congresses, including the events of the Hungarian Dermatology Society, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the European Dermatology Research Society (ESDR) and the European Reference Network (ERN-Skin). I participated in several scholarship-based dermatology study trips abroad, at the Dermatology Department of Trieste, the Dermatology Department of the Sapienza University in Rome, and studied tropical skin diseases in Manila, the Philippines. Since 2018, I have received the New National Excellence Program research scholarship five times. In 2019, I was awarded the national first place at the Falling Walls Lab scientific innovation competition.

In 2020, I won the Michael Hornstein Memorial Scholarship award of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and in 2021, the Merit Award of the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University. I have published more than 70 scientific papers, most of them in prestigious international journals, as well as fulfilled editorial duties of several special issues of scientific journals. In 2023, I won the best publication award of the Dermatology and Venereology Review, journal of the Hungarian Dermatological Society. My main scientific research areas are skin tumors, inflammatory skin diseases and rare diseases with skin symptoms. I regularly give lectures to medical students in Hungarian and English.
