Currently, as a university assistant professor, I am in charge of studies for the English program at Semmelweis University. In patient care, I work as one of the heads of unit that provides curative oncology care. In addition, I participate in the medical treatment of patients with psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and hidradenitis suppurativa at the university's biological therapy center. My spectrum of skin surgery covers the removal of malignant tumors, reconstruction of wounds with flaps or skin grafting, STEEP and deroofing surgery for patients suffering from hidradenitis suppurativa, removal of benign tumors, lipomas, atheroma, hairy scalp cysts.
When examining patients, I am characterized by thoroughness, during which my goal is to discover the connections between skin symptoms, medical history and possible hidden comorbidities.
In addition to the complex approach, I try to offer the most simple and most effective treatment for the fastest recovery. In manual interventions, I focus on precision and safety in order to achieve the most favorable aesthetic results.
Professional background
I obtained my medical degree in 2012 at the Semmelweis University in Budapest, but at the same time, my enthusiasm for dermatology has been the same since my 4th year as a medical student. Since graduating from university, I have been working at the Dermatology Clinic of Semmelweis University. In 2017, I obtained a scientific (PhD) degree, then in 2019 I passed the dermatologist, sexually transmitted infections specialist, aesthetic dermatologist board exam with excellent results. From January 2020, I was appointed head of impatient general dermatology unit of the university clinic.
During outpatient care, I participate in the work of clinics specializing in the treatment of psoriasis, sexually transmitted diseases and skin tumors. I developed my manual skills mostly thanks to the clinic's oncodermatology center, so I have great expertise in liquid nitrogen freezing, electric knife/diathermy interventions, and the removal of moles and different types of skin growths. In addition, I deepened my knowledge of surgical techniques during my plastic and burn surgery internship at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Szent István Hospital, Budapest
In addition to patient care, I am also active in research. I participate in several clinical trials, besides which my main areas of interest in basic research can be related to tumor formation and skin aging. In addition, I also conduct teaching activities, during which I give lectures to university students in English and German in addition to Hungarian.
